I feel like Door County has been the most reliable belwether Wisconsin county in the past ten to fifteen years. I wonder the if the evidence backs that up? Regarding the presidential, US Senate, and gubernatorial elections, it was won by Evers and Johnson in 2022, Biden in 2020, Walker* and Baldwin in 2018, Trump and Johnson in 2016, Baldwin and Obama in 2012, Johnson and Walker in 2010, and Obama in 2008. That's one whiff (*Walker in 2018) among a string of solid knocks. Is there another county that has lined up with the results so well? If there is, it's not coming to mind.

I know this is a "water is wet" type of comment, but I think WI voters are tired of the GOPs outrage machine and grievance peddlers. Yes, Dane county is cobalt blue. But that doesn't explain the shift(s) you've noted elsewhere in the state.
