The race for Wisconsin Supreme Court is most certainly the biggest one on the ballot for Wisconsin’s Spring Election, but there’s another very important race happening in the Milwaukee suburbs — a part of the state where voters have been shifting significantly toward Democrats in recent election cycles.
Democrat Jodi Habush Sinykin will not face a primary challenge, and three Republicans — State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, State Rep. Dan Knodl, Thiensville Village President Van Mobley — are running to be the candidate in the general election.
For a variety of reasons, this is an especially important election. And there are some very interesting things happening here, with Democrats making a gamble with a somewhat devious primary strategy. We break it all down here.
