Recombobulating on the radio (Week of Aug. 17-22)
Featuring appearances on "The Maggie Daun Show," "The Todd Allbaugh Show," "Matenaer On Air" and more.
The Recombobulation Area is a 19-time Milwaukee Press Club award-winning opinion column and online publication founded by longtime Milwaukee journalist Dan Shafer. The Recombobulation Area is now part of Civic Media.
Happy Friday, recombobulators!
We hope you had a wonderful week. It was a busy one for us on the Civic Media airwaves, and here’s where you can find all of those appearances from the past week.
As always, if you’re interested in having me on your show or podcast, reach out at dan.shafer@civicmedia.us.
We’ll go through the week in chronological order. But before we get to that, I also celebrated Free Hamburger Day from George Webb’s, like any good Milwaukeean should. See that here (video by Tony Zimmerman).
Also this week, I helped out with the Civic Media news team to cover the campaign launch from Brewers beer vendor Ryan Strnad, and you can find our coverage of that event here.
As I do every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., I joined “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow” (6-9 a.m. on Civic Media) to talk about Rebecca Cooke campaigning with Bernie Sanders, and efforts from Republicans to try to end voting by mail.
On Thursday, I was on both “The Todd Allbaugh Show” (2-4pm on Civic Media) and “The Maggie Daun Show” (4-6pm on Civic Media) to talk about my latest column on the race for governor.
And as I always do on Friday at 10 a.m., I joined “Matenaer On Air” to recombobulate on the news of the week. This one just has the video livestream available, and my segment begins right at about the midway point.
