What a week; discombobulating as ever. I somehow found myself being referenced in The New York Times (in this article about a potential Mandela Barnes gubernatorial candidacy), and became the subject of multiple segments on right-wing talk radio (in a debate over local government funding). What a weird couple of days!
On a better note, I went to see the Bucks home opener on Wednesday, which featured the first return to Milwaukee for franchise legend Khris Middleton since last season’s trade, and we spent much of the night giving No. 22 a standing ovation. It was a really special night to be a Bucks fan and to be in Milwaukee. Khris Middleton Forever.
And I also, of course, spent a lot of time talking politics on the radio this week, and you can find my appearances on “Matenaer On Air,” “Driving it Home with Patti Vasquez” and “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow” below.

On “Driving it Home with Patti Vasquez,” on Heartland Signal and WCPT 820 in Chicago, I talked about the Chicago solidarity I witnessed at the “No Kings” protest in Milwaukee on Saturday (see above), and as usual, we had some good-natured back-and-forth about Chicago and Wisconsin sports. My segment starts at about the midway point.
And on Tuesday, I joined “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow” to talk about state politics and more.
