We also wanted to share an exciting announcement from Civic Media. Our friend Dr. Kristin Lyerly is launching “The Dr. Kristin Lyerly Show” on WGBW and WISS, airing on Saturdays and Sundays.
NBC 26 did an exclusive segment bout the show; check it out here.
Find the show’s official page on Civic Media here, and be sure to tune into the first episode this weekend. Her first guest is Emily Tseffos, a regular contributor here at The Recombobulation Area. Read Emily’s latest column here.
Lyerly and Tseffos were both featured in a feature story I wrote last fall, “Joy and Desperation in the Fox Valley,” which is now the winner of a Milwaukee Press Club award.

OK, on to the recap…
It’s been a busy couple of weeks in Wisconsin politics, and that’s included a whole lot of recombobulating on the radio. We’ll go in reverse chronological order of my radio appearances in early April.
On Friday, as I always do, I joined “Matenaer On Air” at 11 a.m. to recombobulate on the news of the week. This week, we talked about Ben Wikler’s decision not to seek another term as state party chair, and how the last 15 years of Wisconsin politics have gone from the Walker Era to the Wikler Era.
I also shared some information about the race for the next WisDems chair, noting that Alex Lasry is almost certainly out of the mix, and Greta Neubauer is not running for the role. Joe Zepecki is entertaining a bid, as well.
On Thursday afternoon, I joined “The Maggie Daun Show” to talk about that news just after it broke.
You can watch that segment here.
You can find that as a podcast here.
And see a clip from the show on Instagram here.
Every Tuesday, I join “The Maggie Daun Show” to talk about the latest in Wisconsin state politics, and the week-after fallout from the Spring Election. Check out that segment here.
On Tuesday, I joined Patti Vasquez on Heartland Signal and WCPT 820 in Chicago to talk about the Spring Election in Wisconsin.
Find the previous week’s “Matenaer On Air” appearance, featuring talk on the Wisconsin Supreme Court race and more, here.
And if you missed it on Election Night, I joined Civic Media’s Todd Allbaugh live in Madison for our special broadcast, “Wisconsin Decides 2025.”
