The Recombobulation Area is a thirteen-time Milwaukee Press Club award-winning weekly opinion column and online publication founded by longtime Milwaukee journalist Dan Shafer. Learn more about it here.
Folks, it’s been quite the week. I was in Milwaukee for the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz rally at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday, and spent Wednesday and Thursday in Chicago for the Democratic National Convention.
There’s more to come from the DNC, to be sure, but in case you missed it, here’s my column from the Milwaukee rally and Harris’ convention speech.
So, throughout this week, our friends over at the Civic Media network hosted a nightly “Special Report” live from the DNC. I joined by phone on Tuesday from Milwaukee, and in-person at Media Row in the United Center on Wednesday and Thursday. Watch each show here.
Also on Thursday, I joined our friends from WCPT 820 and Heartland Signal on Media Row for “Driving it Home” with Patti Vasquez. Listen to that episode here.
Extra special shoutout to Patti and producer Jerry for taking me to the Billy Goat for a cheezborger before I headed back to Milwaukee!
As I always do on Fridays, I joined “Matenaer On Air” to recombobulate on the week that was.
And as always on Tuesdays, I joined Steve Scaffidi for the “Political Power Hour” on 620 WTMJ. Listen and watch here.
Thanks for listening this week! We’ll see you next week, recombobulators. Big things ahead.
