The former lieutenant governor has long been the Republican establishment’s pick to be on the ballot in 2022 in Wisconsin, but now, less than three months from the primary, Rebecca Kleefisch is facing tougher challenges and has been unable to consolidate support in the party.
A new poll shows her lead evaporating, and after the party chose not to endorse a candidate at its convention for the first time ever, the “Not-Kleefisch” movement among Republicans appears to be building.
