The Recombobulation Area is a ten-time Milwaukee Press Club award-winning weekly opinion column and online publication written, edited and published by longtime Milwaukee journalist Dan Shafer. Learn more about it here.
As those of you who follow me on the website formerly known as twitter are certainly aware, I am a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks.
Every once in a while, I take a detour from my usual topics of news and politics in Milwaukee and Wisconsin to write a few words about my beloved Bucks, and that’s what I did this week over at Milwaukee Record.
This has been a weird season for the Milwaukee Bucks, but in firing Adrian Griffin and hiring Doc Rivers, the team is doing what they have needed to do: Recombobulate.

Every week, I join “WTMJ N.O.W.” with Steve Scaffidi on 620 WTMJ (Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.), “Matenaer On Air” on Civic Media (Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.), and “Driving it Home with Patti Vasquez” on WCPT 820 and Heartland Signal (Wednesdays at 6 p.m).
If you missed those live, you can listen to all of those appearances from the last two weeks as commercial-free podcasts here.
